Experiential, vocational and educational opportunities for all.

Growing one’s own food is not just sustainable. It is empowering.

H.I.S. creates opportunities for all individuals, including neurodivergent, disabled and marginalized members of our community, with focus on our healthy and sustainable habits as individuals and members of society. We fund and organize classes, workshops, concerts, poetry readings, presentations and events — all based around sustainable living.

Our mission is not ambiguous. We teach brilliant neurodivergent and neurotypical people of all ages and backgrounds real-life skills. We introduce them to hands-on, traditional farming. We hone their cooking skills. We nurture their inter-personal confidence and workplace competence. We strive to guarantee a sustainable future for them as individuals and, by extension, for our community.

We are committed to being a catalyst of learning, knowledge, understanding, open-mindedness, acceptance and peace.
