What Your Membership Supports
Vocational Opportunities
This is not a photo opportunity. We take pride in being the organization that brings neurodivergent and other interested folks to real local farms and kitchens. Your support helps us create a safe environment and fair compensation for all. Our vocational groups look forward to farming, cooking, serving, hosting and ultimately build long-lasting relationships that lead to friendships and careers.
Free Programs & Classes
We are passionate about sustainability on all levels. This includes individual life skills, such as cooking a meal, planting a garden, raising animals, harvesting and processing, all of which provide an alternative to the commercialized large-scale food supply. As such, we want you to know that your invaluable contribution represents a seed in a personal growth of many young people of all backgrounds an ability levels.
Experiential & Educational Programs
We all face a different set of challenges. Not everyone starts with an ability to work and create value. This is where your support becomes crucial. Even our vocational groups include members who start out by observing and slowly developing the skillset needed to create and participate. Unlike traditional employers, we do not impose timelines, limits or pressures. This is the core ethos of our mission. Everyone should have the opportunity to pursue a passion, regardless of immediate productivity and financial pressures.
Unifying The Community
When the greater Hopewell community gathers on a Friday night to enjoy indoor or outdoor music, a film screening or a reading by a young author, they not only taste the wonderful empanadas or ice cream created by our groups but get to personally meet interact, learn and understand. Your contribution helps us foster a community that has the potential to be a model of growth, knowledge, sustainability and tolerance.
